WASHINGTON STATE- In the Top 10 for Car Thefts
Two cities in Washington State have made the “Top 10” for
number of cars thefts for 2011 in a national listing. The National Insurance Crime
Bureau ranked Spokane at number 4 with 2,614 thefts. Yakima came in at number 5
with 1,308 thefts. The Seattle/Tacoma/Bellevue area was ranked number 12 with
15,604 thefts. The rankings are based on a ratio of number of thefts versus population.
