The Snohomish Health District is warning Snohomish
County residents to watch out for vaccination scams. With the high interest in COVID-19
vaccines some people may be tempted to find ways to take advantage of what appear
to be opportunities.
But the Health District, as well as the Federal Trade
Commission and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, remind
everyone that you should not have to pay to receive your vaccination. Anyone
who offers to vaccinate you, put you in line, or give you “early access” to the
vaccine for a price is a scammer.
Also, all vaccines must be administered by licensed
medical professionals.
