In response to the increased thefts of Hyundai and Kia vehicles the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is offering free steering wheel locks to Snohomish County owners of those vehicles. Hyundai and Kia are partnering with local law enforcement agencies to offer a limited number of steering wheel locks to Hyundai and Kia vehicle owners.
Locks are
available at each of the three Sheriff’s Office precincts for pick up during
normal office hours on a first come basis. Eligible car owners are those who
own or lease a Hyundai or Kia.
If you are
interested bring the following to your nearest Sheriff’s Office precinct:

Driver’s
license/Identification
·
Proof of Snohomish County
residency (if current address is different than ID)
·
Vehicle registration showing
Hyundai or Kia ownership
The precincts
are located at:
·
East Precinct (Sultan PD), M-F
open 9am-5pm, closed daily for lunch 12-1 p.m.
·
North Precinct (Marysville)
M-F open 9am-4pm, closed daily for lunch 12-1 p.m.
·
South Precinct (Mill Creek)
M-F open 9am-4pm, closed daily for lunch 12-1 p.m.
