The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office’s latest issue of “Partners
in Crime Prevention” is out. In this issue, the Sheriff’s Office talks about its
new one-year pilot program, Law Enforcement Embedded Social Worker, that is
proactively encouraging the homeless, frequent users of the jail and others to
get help with drug abuse and mental health problems.
