GRAFITTI- Help with Removing It

Graffiti continues to be a problem for communities in Snohomish County. For the most part, graffiti is put up by “taggers” who draw on fences, walls and other surfaces what they might consider pretty pictures. Sometimes, graffiti is used by gangs to define their territory.

Removing graffiti can be a pain. But, removal is important to discourage taggers or gangs from coming back. Sometimes removal is easy with paint or a pressure washer. Sometimes graffiti is on special material that you cannot figure how to remove without ruining the surface.

David Croutworst, an active Neighborhood Watch coordinator, has offered to help neighborhoods with graffiti problems. David has experience removing graffiti in his neighborhood that has included several surfaces and situations.
